Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-07
These terms apply when you use UAE Expat Will. They should be read together with our Legal Advice Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which form part of them.
1. Who you are contracting with
UAE Expat Will is operated by Growth Masters LLC FZ, registered in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 21 years old — the age the court requires for making a civil will — and legally capable of making one. The service is intended for non-Muslim expatriates preparing a civil will in relation to UAE assets. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for anything done through it.
3. What the service is
A self-guided platform that turns your answers into a will document on the official bilingual template, plus guidance on registering it yourself. What we do and do not do is set out in full in our Legal Advice Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
4. Paying, and what you pay for
You pay nothing until you have answered the questions and reviewed your summary. Prices are shown before payment and include the preparation of your document only.
Court and government fees are not included, are set by the relevant authority, are paid by you directly to that authority, and are outside our control. We publish what we know about them for information, and they can change without notice to us.
Payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
5. Refunds
Because your document is generated for you at the point of payment, we do not offer automatic refunds once it has been produced.
That is not the end of the conversation. If something has gone wrong, if the platform did not do what we said it would, or if you paid twice, contact us and we will put it right — including a refund where that is the fair answer. We would rather resolve it than hold your money.
6. Updates to your will
Your document remains available in your account. Membership, where you have taken it, includes updating your will and regenerating the document as your circumstances change. Any court fee or certified translation required to register an updated will is payable by you, and re-registering an updated will with the court is your responsibility, as with the original.
7. Discounts and partner codes
We sometimes offer discounts, including through referral partners. Offers are subject to the conditions stated at the time, and codes issued to a particular person or organisation are personal to them and not transferable. We may withdraw or refuse a discount where it has been misused, where the person using it is not eligible, or where it was obtained in a way inconsistent with these terms.
8. Using the service properly
You agree to give accurate information, to use the service only for preparing your own will or that of someone you are entitled to act for, not to use it unlawfully, and not to attempt to access parts of our systems you have not been granted access to.
You also agree not to use automated tools to extract, copy, replicate or reverse engineer the platform, its question flow, its validation logic or its generated documents, and not to use our content to train a model or build a competing service.
9. Documents generated without payment
A document produced without a completed payment, by circumventing the payment step, or through unauthorised access to the platform, is not licensed for use, and we do not stand behind it for registration or any other purpose. We reserve the right to recover unpaid fees.
10. Our intellectual property, and yours
The platform, its wording, its structure and its design belong to us. The contents of your will belong to you: your instructions, your document, yours to use, keep and register. The official court template itself is the court's, not ours, and we make no claim to it.
11. Availability
We try to keep the service running and your documents available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, and we will give reasonable notice where a change materially affects you.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us. In particular, we are not liable for a court declining to register a will, for changes in court fees, procedures or law, or for the consequences of instructions you chose to give.
13. Ending your use of the service
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. What happens to your data when you do is explained in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that is being used unlawfully or in breach of these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the UAE courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top tells you which version applies. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
