This explains what we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Your choice comes first
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies for analytics and advertising. Until you accept, none of those are loaded — no analytics, no advertising pixels, nothing that tracks you. If you decline, we simply do not load them. UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 treats consent as a proper basis for this kind of processing, and consent means a real choice you can withdraw, so declining costs you nothing and the site works exactly the same.
2. Cookies we use whatever you choose
A small number are necessary for the site to work at all, and these are not optional:
Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in and can reach your will. Your cookie choice itself, so we stop asking. And, if you arrived through a partner's link, a record of which partner introduced you, so their referral is credited correctly. That last one is stored in your browser and contains only the partner's name in short form.
3. Cookies we use only if you accept
Analytics. Google Analytics, to understand which pages people use and where they get stuck. Typically stored for up to two years.
Advertising. The Meta pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking, so we can tell which adverts lead to someone completing a will. These may be read by Meta and Google in line with their own policies, and are typically stored for up to two years.
All of these load through Google Tag Manager, which is present on every page but does nothing until you accept.
4. Changing your mind
Use the button at the bottom of this page to bring the cookie notice back and make a different choice. You can also clear cookies for this site in your browser at any time, or use your browser's private browsing mode. Declining or clearing them will not affect your will, your account or anything you have already saved.
5. Do we sell any of this?
No. We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass analytics or advertising data to our referral partners. Partners see how many referrals converted, never who they were or what is in their will.
