UAE Expat Will is a self-service platform that helps non-GCC expat residents of the UAE prepare a civil will on the official Abu Dhabi Judicial Department template and register it themselves.

We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. We do not represent you and we do not file anything with any authority on your behalf. What we provide is document preparation and general information, plus a clear guide to the registration steps you complete yourself.

Which routes we prepare for

We prepare wills for two registration routes: the standard Abu Dhabi Judicial Department route, and the ADGM Courts notary channel. Both use the official ADJD bilingual template, reference ADJD-NM0723-07-03.

Who it is for

Non-GCC expat residents of the UAE who want their assets and, where relevant, guardianship of their children dealt with under a registered civil will rather than by default.

How it works

You answer a guided questionnaire. We produce a bilingual Arabic and English will PDF on the official template, run rejection-proofing checks on the details the court is strict about, and give you a step-by-step registration guide. You pay the court fee directly to the court, not to us.

Where our figures come from

Court fees are stated as published by the relevant authority and rechecked quarterly. Anything we cannot trace to a source is marked as unverified rather than published as fact. Fees are set by the courts and can change without notice, so always confirm the current amount before you pay.
